The big hit from D’eux

Pour que tu m’aimes encore was the lead single from D’eux, the album Jean-Jacques Goldman wrote for Céline Dion in 1995. It spent 12 weeks at number one in France and won the Victoire de la musique for song of the year in 1996. A French chanson standard that I perform here live, with all its intensity.

This song is part of my stage repertoire, alongside my other covers of Céline Dion, Prince, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. I also recorded an electro version, released as a single.
